Download PUTTY for SSH to connect to EMR Cluster

So Putty will help us SSH straight into EMR Cluster.

We also Convert pem file into ppk file.

Open Search bar and type: PUTTY gen.

Conversions -> Import key

Choose the .pem file

Save private key

Open Search bar and type: PUTTY

In AWS console, find public DNS

Paste that into PUTTY

Then in Session, Save it. So that you can’t lose all the information

Then Choose EMR and click Open

Then click Accept

Login as: Hadoop

You now can connect hive
